In a recent personal column for the Daily Express, veteran Italian soccer observer Romano gave an in-depth analysis of Crystal Palace star Gueye's move. He reveals that Gueye has attracted the attention of many of Europe's top clubs with his stunning performance in the Europa League.
According to Romano, Liverpool, Newcastle and other top giants have been in contact with Gueye's team since the opening of this summer's transfer window, however, as of now, the exact information about Gueye's transfer remains a mystery. Romano declared that he does not speak on behalf of Gueye himself, and therefore cannot disclose the player's specific considerations on his future destination.
Speaking about Gueye's current stance, Romano made it clear that Gueye is fully committed to Crystal Palace this season. Despite the uncertainty of the future, Gueye has not shown a strong desire to leave the club, so it can be concluded that he has not yet made a final choice between Liverpool and Newcastle.
