In the second half, both players went all out. The Nigerian team attempted to recover the deficit by stepping up their attack, but the Beninese defense was like a brick wall, and they managed to withstand the Nigerian onslaught with excellent teamwork and resilience.

In the 85th minute, Olawoyin's cross from the right was headed off the line by a defender. In the 86th minute, Onuachu's header went over the crossbar. These two chances could not be converted into goals, but it was enough to see the efforts of the Nigerian team in the second half.

As the referee's whistle blew, the match came to an end. Benin came back to win this crucial match with a 2-1 victory over Nigeria. Goals from Moune and Jordel Dossou were key to the team's victory. Nigeria, on the other hand, led in the first half but ultimately could not withstand Benin's comeback and lost.
