In the 20th round of the English Premier League, Brighton Football Club had a fierce battle with Arsenal at home, and finally shook hands with a score of 1-1. After the match, Brighton defender Van Hecke gave a detailed analysis of the match in an exclusive interview with Sky Sports.

Van Hecke began by praising his team's performance, "I think we showed a very high level of athleticism in this game. Even though we made a mistake in defense and conceded the first goal, this is not the norm for us. The players showed an indomitable fighting spirit on the field and we were relentless in our pursuit of the score."

He further emphasized that team stability is the key to much-needed improvement: "We are a young team with an average age of only 23. Being young means instability, but our players always give their best. Perhaps we need more experience to manage the game, but with time, I believe we will gradually mature and stabilize."

Van Hecke also expressed regret over Arsenal's goal: "During Arsenal's goal, their young player Nwaneri was virtually unguarded on the right, which allowed him to finish inside and break through to score with ease. As a team, we should have done a better job of containing the other team's attack more effectively."

Despite failing to win, Van Hecke is confident about the future, "In some areas we played quite well and showed our potential and strength. Consistency is vital for us and as long as we can be consistent and perform well in the coming games, I'm sure we'll be back where we deserve to be."
