In a recent column for the Daily Briefing, Italian soccer industry leader Romano gave an in-depth analysis of the transfer of Crystal Palace star Gueye. He reveals that, thanks to Gueye's stunning performance in the Europa League, the England international has become a target for many of Europe's top clubs.
Romano revealed that top clubs such as Liverpool and Newcastle had approached Gueye's representative team during this summer's transfer window, however, to this day, the exact information regarding Gueye's transfer remains a mystery. He declared that he was not a spokesman for Gueye and therefore could not reveal the player's deep thoughts on the way forward.
Speaking about Gueye's current situation, Romano was blunt that Gueye will be fully committed to the battle of Crystal Palace this season. He emphasized that despite the uncertainty of the future, Gueye has not shown a strong will to leave the team, so it can be concluded that he has not yet made a final decision between Liverpool and Newcastle.
