Parma, the old Italian soccer city, is making a comeback to Serie A after a short hiatus. The team has been making a lot of moves lately, especially the introduction of 21-year-old Japanese star - goalkeeper Suzuki. The young goalkeeper joins the club for a transfer fee of €10 million (about HK$85 million) and a five-year deal. With the retirement of legendary keeper Hohata, Parma is in dire need of a reliable keeper, and the addition of Suzuki certainly adds new hope to the team's battle in the new season.

Suzuki made his debut in Japan with Urawa Red Diamonds before being loaned out to Bianconeri side St. Turten last summer. There, he appeared in 32 games last season. On July 1 of this year, St. Tilden bought him out for €4 million. Now, Suzuki Color has moved from St. Tilden to Parma, doubling his value in just one month.

The 1.90 meter tall goalkeeper is so talented that he has attracted the attention of many top clubs, including Manchester United, who are also interested in taking him under their wing. It is worth mentioning that Suzuki is of African-Ghanaian descent, a background that has led to him being nicknamed "Japan's Onana" by netizens. So far, he has played 10 matches for the Japanese national team. Talking about the future, Suzuki said that he would like to "start from the bottom" and believes that playing in the lower leagues will give him more chances to play, so for the time being, he does not have the intention to join a luxury club.
