As the night wore on, Udonis rocked Lecce with a 2-0 victory in Serie A on Tuesday (14), marking not only the first win for new head coach Jannah Waluigi, but also a magnificent comeback at the top of the table for Udonis.

Looking back at the three league matches since Gianluigi's appointment, the U's lost to Roma in the bye, but showed resilience against Bologna and Bori. Against a slightly weaker Lecce side, Jannehualu finally broke out for the first time in his coaching career. The U's were on the attack from the start of the match, with Lorenzo Luca knocking on the door in the 36th minute.

With the U.S. team taking the lead and being conservative in their tactics, Lecce took the opportunity to launch a counterattack. Luckily for the U.S., U.S. goalkeeper O'Keele played a heroic game, defusing many of Lecce's attacks and avoiding the embarrassment of being leveled. In the 85th minute of the match, U's midfielder Shasha Madisi sealed the 2-0 win with a clever follow-up shot at the moment when the opponent's goalkeeper jumped out of the way. It was also the first win for the U's in the last eight league matches.

The victory allowed Udinese to climb from the bottom of the table to 15th place, successfully escaping the relegation zone. Prior to that, the U's had suffered earlier defeats against relegation rivals Ficineloni, Cagliari and Amboli. The next two matches between the U's and Amboli and Fiorentina will be the meeting point of the three teams' destinies.
