La Liga glory is once again upon the Galacticos! Just on Saturday (4), Real Madrid won 3-0 against Cádiz on their home turf, while city rivals Barcelona unexpectedly lost 2-4 against Quirona. The win leaves Real Madrid with just 13 points from four rounds of the league, but with an early lock on the league title. It was Real Madrid's 36th title in history, equaling the number of titles won by Juventus in Serie A and setting a new record for the top five leagues in Europe.

Back in the middle of the week, we met Real Madrid in the first four rounds of the Europa League. On Saturday, we won comfortably at home with a 3-0 scoreline in the second half thanks to the excellent play of Bacian Dyas, Zudibinenham and Zusnu. On Sunday (5th), however, Barcelona's challengers Quirona saw their defeat come in the early hours of Sunday morning. Despite a 2-1 lead thanks to Anders Kirchen and Roland Ljunduvski, the side changed sides and conceded three goals in a row to go home 2-4, which indirectly contributed to Real Madrid's early coronation.

When Real Madrid coach Antonio Anzilotti learned of his team's victory, he expressed his joy through the club's official TV channel: Incredible excitement! I believe Real Madrid deserved this title in every way. I can't wait to celebrate with the fans, but as you all know, we have a crucial EU quarterfinal match ahead of us on Wednesday. I'm going to concentrate on preparing for this game, trying to give the fans a good result and then celebrate the glory of being La Liga champions with you next week.
