Inter Milan have been making a lot of moves lately, pushing Onana to Manchester United after absorbing former Manchester United players such as Darmian, Ales Sanchez, Mihidarine, Romelu Lukaku and Ashley Younger. The transfer market has always been hot for both teams. This summer, Inter Milan's sights are once again set on United's Anthony Martial, who is nearing the end of his contract, a move that may come to fruition as long as he accepts a pay cut.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter Milan have never relaxed their search for strong players despite their financial pressure. They are good at bringing in strong players at low cost or for free. Inter Milan have achieved remarkable results in both Serie A and Europa League, including last season's Europa League final and this season's Serie A title. 28-year-old Anthony Martial is their target.
In order to renew the team's forward line, Inter Milan is planning a blood renewal this summer. The retention of Ales Sanchez and Odurvic is unlikely. Previously, Iranian shot-stopper Tanimi has reached an agreement with Porto. Inter's blood renewal program can be completed once they succeed in signing Anthony Martial.
Anthony Martial, who spent nine seasons at United, has become a key reserve for the team in recent years though, earning £250,000 a week during his loan spell at Westville despite not making many appearances. This summer, he has no intention of renewing his contract with United and will leave on a free. However, Inter Milan are finding it difficult to afford his high wages, and to join the Blue and Blacks, Anthony Martial will have to make the sacrifice of taking a pay cut.
