Vidal Ossenhan, the Napoli striker, has become the focus of many top clubs' pursuit in recent years. Chelsea have finalized a huge transfer fee of 130 million euros (about HK$1.1 billion) this summer to directly activate the release clause of the 25-year-old Nigerian international, according to a disclosure by the British Sun newspaper.
Although Vidal Ossenhan renewed his contract with Napoli in December last year until the summer of 2026 and set the release fee at 130 million euros, meaning that any club that offered this price would have to release the player. This amount is lower than the 180 million euros transfer fee that Napoli had previously demanded, which has caused great interest from clubs such as Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain.
