Recently, Serie A giants Napoli posted a spoof video on their official TikTok account that allegedly insulted the team's top scorer Vitor Ossenhan, sparking widespread controversy. In the face of a legal statement from Vitor Ossenhan's manager, the Napoli club quickly issued an apology on Friday (29), emphasizing that they had no intention of offending or humiliating the star and that they regard him as the team's "invaluable treasure".

In a statement, FC Napoli said: "We hope that this incident will not be over-hyped. FC Napoli has always respected and valued Vitor Ossenhan, who is undoubtedly our treasure. For this reason, we firmly rejected all transfer offers for him this summer. Social media, especially TikTok, often spreads light-hearted and creative content. But in this instance, FC Napoli had no intention whatsoever of insulting or ridiculing Vidar Ossenhan."
