Transfer weathervane Romano reporter revealed that the top figures of Roma soccer club has arrived in London, and started a negotiation with Chelsea about the loan of Lukaku. Chelsea's coach, ex-Manchester United manager Molenu, has publicly expressed the club's interest in bringing in two strikers, which seems to indicate that the inch king Molenu and Lukaku may have a third cooperation after coaching Chelsea and Manchester United.
It is reported that Roma wants to loan Lukaku for one season only, and does not include a buyout clause. Chelsea, on the other hand, demanded that Roma pay a substantial loan fee and bear all of Lukaku's salary during the loan period. Given that Roma striker Tammy Abakian has been out of action for six months with a serious injury, the team is in dire need of additional striking power.
