On the same day, the soccer transfer market saw two heavy news. Serie A giants Lazio officially announced that they have successfully signed Japanese player Kamada Daiichi from Eintracht Frankfurt in Germany on a purely free transfer for a four-year contract. Meanwhile, Japanese defender Maya Yoshida has opted to leave Europe and join LA Galaxy of Major League Soccer as a free agent on a one-and-a-half-year contract.

Kamada, who is approaching his 27th birthday, spent five seasons at Frankfurt, during which he not only won the Europa League Champions Cup and the German Cup, but also received offers from several teams after becoming a free agent this summer. In the end, the Japan international chose Lazio and will start a new chapter of his Serie A career in the new season.
