Arsenal have not eased up on tweaking their squad as the summer transfer window deepens, while bringing in strong additions such as Xaviers, Deglan Rice and Zulian Timba. They plan to dispose of striker Balogun and goalkeeper Matt Duaner, with U.S. international Balogun highly likely to move to Inter Milan this Tuesday (8).
The 22-year-old Balogan was on loan at Ligue 1 side Reims last season and showed amazing form, scoring 21 goals in 37 league games, however, such results did not win the trust of Arsenal's manager Ardida, and Balogan was put on the sale list. And after Inter Milan's failed bid for Westham striker Schickamaka, the team has turned its sights on Balogun.
Recently, the shot-stopper took to social media to show a photo of legendary Brazilian striker Cristiano Ronaldo during his time with Inter Milan, seemingly hinting to the Blue and Blacks his willingness to join the club. It is reported that the negotiations between Inter Milan and Arsenal are progressing well and a deal is expected to be reached on Tuesday (8).
