After a three-cornered chase for Lukaku's transfer rights, the dust seems to have settled. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the 30-year-old striker has signed a personal contract with Serie A giants Juventus, earning a whopping €9 million a year on a three-year deal.

Lukaku spent last season on loan at Inter Milan from Chelsea, where he made 37 appearances in all competitions and contributed 14 goals. Originally, he was interested in taking a pay cut to stay with the team, and Inter planned to officially sign him. However, Lukaku suddenly changed his mind and secretly contacted Juventus, even disappearing from the public eye for a while, ignoring calls from Inter teammates and executives. In the end, Inter chose to give up pursuing him. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Lukaku and Juventus have signed a personal agreement, and both sides are currently negotiating with Chelsea over the transfer fee.
