Just after Sindo Donnelly's departure, AC Milan has been questioned about "self-denial" and "abandoning the title race". In order to quickly stop the damage, the Serie A giants have sought to remedy the situation by signing two young attackers, Noah Okako and Drejos, in a bid to consolidate their title-winning squad and appease the public.
AC Milan's recent sacking of director and legendary footballer Martini has sparked discontent amongst players and fans alike. The departure of Sindo Donnelly even provoked public anger, and the American consortium owner RedBird Capital Partners was even satirized as the "Grassa Family 2.0". However, the club has made a number of moves recently, and in addition to bringing in Chelsea winger Ghislain Plessis, two heavyweight attackers, Noah Okako and Drego, will soon be added to the squad.
According to Transfer Authority journalist Fabrizio Romano, Salzburg striker Noah Okako has arrived in Milan for a medical and is expected to sign a five-year contract for a fee of 14 million euros (HK$120 million). The 23-year-old Swiss international made 32 appearances last season, scoring an impressive 10 goals.
