The 30-year-old Belgian star is set to return to Chelsea after his summer loan spell expired, after Inter Milan's dream of winning the UEFA Champions League final was shattered when Lukaku repeatedly missed chances in this season's final. However, the Premier League giants were not interested in the starlet, leaving his future in limbo. Fortunately, Serie A giants Juventus have not rejected Lukaku for his past missteps and instead are interested in reaching out to him and are ready to launch a takeover bid for the Blues.

Earlier, it was reported that Saudi Arabia league giants Hilal offered Lukaku a three-year contract worth 120 million euros (HK$1.02 billion), but he turned it down due to his desire to stay in Europe. According to Sky Sports, Juventus are interested in "rescuing" Lukaku and have sent representatives to talk to Chelsea about the possibility of signing the shot-stopper. Chelsea are reportedly demanding a transfer fee of 45 million euros (HK$385 million), while Juventus plan to use striker Dusinho Horwath as a bargaining chip.
