After Liverpool brought in Brighton midfielder Alex McAllister and RB Leipzig's young talent Sue Pauslar in quick succession, team leader Jurgen Klopp's pace of reinforcement has not stopped. According to the Daily Mail, Liverpool have shown strong interest in Barcelona midfielder Kissel, even offering a transfer fee of up to 30 million pounds (about HK$300 million) in a bid to bring the 26-year-old Ivory Coast international under their wing.

Kissell has performed well in Serie A in recent years, however, after moving to Barcelona as a free agent from AC Milan last summer, he failed to win the favor of coach Pedri Tej, and the club has long started planning to sell him this summer to ease the financial pressure.
