Known as the "New Prince of Rome", Nicolò Cignolo was transferred to Galatasaray in Turkey in February this year due to disciplinary issues and tensions with Roma's coach Moleno. Nevertheless, the 24-year-old striker is still a rare Italian soccer talent in recent years, and Serie A giants such as Ferentina, Zuyuntas and AC Milan are all eyeing him.

Due to Roma's eagerness to get rid of the player at that time, the transfer fee for Nicolò Cignolo was only €15 million (HK$127 million) fixed transfer fee and €10 million (HK$84.8 million) floating transfer fee, which was really low. However, his performance in Galatasaray did not fail to live up to expectations, scoring 5 goals and contributing 1 assist in 11 matches, and he was even recalled by Italian national team manager Vincenzo Vicenzi to take part in the final week of the UEFA Europa League, helping Italy win the third place, and once again becoming a sought-after commodity for Serie A teams.
