A legend in the soccer world, Brazilian "Rangers" Pato, has recently embarked on a new journey, returning to Brazilian super team São Paulo. This is the third time for the 33-year-old veteran to play for São Paulo, and the contract signed between the two sides is valid until the end of the year, so if Pato's form is outstanding, the possibility of contract renewal will be greatly increased.
Pato rose to fame at a young age, joining Italian Serie A giants AC Milan at the age of 18, and was once hailed as the "new generation of Ronaldo". However, injuries overshadowed his career, and in 2013, Porto said goodbye to AC Milan and returned to Brazil, where he joined Corentyne before being loaned out to São Paulo.
After a brief return to Europe, where he played for Chelsea and Villarreal but failed to establish himself, Berto traveled to the Chinese Super League in 2017, joining Tianjin. Two years later, Berto returned to São Paulo again and then joined USL side Orlando City.
