South Korean star Kim Min Jae, a stalwart who helped Napoli win the Serie A title, has become a hot commodity in this summer's transfer market. Recently, it was claimed that Manchester United had already finalized the transfer with Kim, and that the transfer process would start in July when the buyout clause is activated. However, Kim's agent recently denied the rumor, suggesting that United still need to secure UEFA qualification before they can talk about a move.

Kim Min Ja, 26, has been considered a desired acquisition by Manchester United, but in an interview with Star News Korea, he revealed, "The news of talks with United is not true, and Kim Min Ja is doing his best to finish the season. Moreover, we have not yet learned which Premier League team will participate in the UEFA Europa League, so we are not in a hurry to make a decision. Manchester United showed interest in Min Ja Kim while he was still playing in the Chinese Super League, but we have not received any official offer."

It is reported that Kim Min Jae's contract with Napoli has a release clause that will be activated for a short period of time in July, with a release fee of about 60 million euros (about 500 million Hong Kong dollars). Meanwhile, the agent confirmed that Kim Min Jae will return to South Korea between June and July to fulfill his 3-week military service obligation.
