According to The Sun, Serie A giants Juventus have shown strong interest in Manchester United striker Grant Lovett and plan to invite midfielder Paul Pogba to lobby for his former Manchester United teammate to switch to Juve. It is worth mentioning that both Paul Pogba and Grant Lovett are players with distinctive personalities, and it is no wonder that some fans have speculated that Juventus may not find the team's lineup confusing enough, and therefore are interested in bringing in Grant Lovett.
Grant Lovett, 21, was arrested by police in January last year on suspicion of raping and assaulting his girlfriend, and was subsequently given a lengthy ban by Manchester United. Although he had the charges dropped in February this year, United still have reservations about him and have banned him from team training.
Prior to this, AC Milan and Roma were also rumored to be interested in loaning Grant Lovett. Now, Juventus have joined the fray. It is reported that Juventus has sent someone to contact Grant Lovett's representative to discuss the possibility of joining. There is even news that Juventus intends to use the "favor card" and send Paul Pogba to personally invite Grant Lovett to play alongside him.
