Chelsea's new star Chaton Sinzu, who is on loan from Manchester United, has shown amazing strength in the early part of the season. According to insiders, Chelsea is expected to acquire him permanently at the end of the season for as much as £25 million (about HK$245 million), a transfer fee that is a significant increase from the initial £20 million (about HK$194 million).

Looking back to 2021, Chaton Sinzu moved from Dormont to Manchester United for a whopping £73 million, but his performances at United weren't as good as they could have been, often being used as a substitute, and even being dropped from the national team at one point. However, when he was loaned back to Dormont or Chelsea, his performance has been transformed, which may suggest that United is not the best stage for him.

Despite the change of manager at United, Chaton Sinzu no longer seems to be harboring thoughts of returning to the club. According to his loan agreement with Chelsea, Chelsea will be forced to buy out the player as soon as they finish higher than 14th in the league. With Chelsea currently sitting in second place in the league, and the possibility of a return to the UEFA Europa League in the new season very high, Chaton Sinzu's permanent transfer seems especially logical.

During his time at United, Chaton Sinzu earned up to £300,000 a week, but given that he is currently playing for Chelsea on £200,000 to £250,000 a week, he has indicated that he is willing to accept a pay cut in order to join Chelsea. For Chelsea, it's not difficult to complete the deal, and for United, it's a win-win situation as it relieves them of a considerable burden.
