and loaned him out to the Bundesliga

Sibu, 21, joined Bayern from Hoffenheim in 2020. He has appeared in 66 games for the team since joining Fürth in 2022, contributing 17 goals and four assists. Sibu made his debut for the German U21 national team in March this year.
Bayern announced that they have signed Sibu to a new contract, keeping him until June 30, 2027, and have decided to loan him out to FC Mainz for two seasons.
Bayern's Sporting Director Freund said, "We have been closely following Sib's performances at Fürth and he has made significant progress over the last two years, especially last season, becoming one of the highest scoring young players in the Bundesliga. Sibu is fast, aggressive and perfectly suited to Mainz's style of play and we believe the Bundesliga is the ideal stage for him to take the next step."
