La Liga giants Sporting Madrid have been making a lot of moves lately, officially welcoming Villarreal's top player Aleksandar Solov to the club. The 28-year-old Norwegian international scored 23 goals in La Liga last season, just one goal behind top scorer Dov. With his accurate shooting skills, he is expected to be the perfect successor to Eduardo Morada.

Aleksandar Solov has moved around a number of clubs in his career, including Löschingenburg, Groningen, Crystal Palace, RB Leipzig, and Real Sociedad. It wasn't until he moved to Villarreal last season that his talents were fully displayed. In La Liga, he played 34 matches and contributed 23 goals, which was a stunning performance. With his excellent play, he was in the starting lineup of the Norwegian national team, where he played alongside Einin Sharant.

Sporting Madrid have been actively searching for a top striker in the face of the vacancy left by the departure of Ewalu Morada. Coach Szémonyi was full of praise for Aleksandr Solov and managed to facilitate the team's efforts to bring him in for a fee of 32 million euros (about HK$270 million). The two sides signed a four-year deal. The 1.95-meter-tall Alexandrov will add a new element of high-flying bombardment for Sporting Madrid in the new season.
