AC Milan are looking to acquire Chukwuemeka on loan with an optional buyout clause included, but Chelsea are insisting that they can only accept a permanent transfer. The two sides are currently trying to negotiate and may consider ways such as including a mandatory buyout clause in the contract.
In addition to Chukwuemeka, AC Milan are also looking to sign Monaco's Fofana. The team may reorganize their midfield this summer, while Ben Nasser may also leave the team.
Chukwuemeka made just 12 appearances for Chelsea last season due to injury problems.
