has completed a transfer to
Nottingham Forest
The deal. The 21-year-old Scottish midfielder grew up in the Newcastle youth system and was plagued by injuries last season, but still contributed two assists in 26 games, totaling 1,113 minutes.
An official statement released by Newcastle wished Anderson the best of luck at his new club. It comes after Nottingham Forest goalkeeper Vlachodimos completed a deal to join Newcastle.
Anderson's transfer fee was reported to be €15 million, a deal that marked his departure from the club that had nurtured him but also opened up a new chapter in his career.
