Keck began by saying, "Portugal is one of the favorites to win the tournament. We will start the tournament as underdogs, but we are already proud to have come this far. There are a lot of Slovenian fans in Germany and the players are excited and ready for the game."
On the challenge of facing Portugal, Keck noted, "When you look at the Portuguese national team's roster, you get a headache because they can make personnel changes and rotate a lot of players. However, it won't change the way we play."
Finally, Keck emphasized his team's mentality and preparation: "I just want my players to stay focused and relax their minds, we know who we will be playing, but we want to get a good result. We're not too worried about our performance on the pitch, I expect we'll have difficulties at some point in the game. At the moment, everyone is fighting for this game."
