The Discipline Inspection and Supervision Group gathered with the Party Group and the Party Committee of the Football Association for an in-depth exchange on the way to revitalize soccer. The meeting conveyed the spirit of important instructions, striving to promote the rectification of the central inspection, and driving soccer reform and governance through cases. Director Gao Zhidan presided over the meeting and delivered an important speech, emphasizing the optimization of the development environment and the enhancement of joint efforts to ensure "two safeguards".
During the meeting, the Discipline Inspection and Monitoring Group disclosed the problems encountered on the way to revitalize soccer, and representatives of the men's national team and the Football Association spoke. Xi Hua, head of the group, made suggestions for the problems, and Zhang Jiasheng, secretary of the football association, took a stand and formulated corrective measures. Deputy directors Liu Guoyong and Li Jing also put forward specific rectification programs. The Second Supervision and Inspection Office of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the State Supervision Commission provided guidance.
Gao Zhidan pointed out that the Discipline Inspection and Supervision Group needs to deeply understand the spirit of the instructions, strengthen political supervision, and actively act to solve the difficult problems of soccer reform. The head of the Second Supervision and Inspection Office of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the State Supervisory Commission (CCDI) affirmed the results of the meeting, suggesting that both the symptoms and the root causes should be addressed, a good public opinion environment should be created, anti-corruption and soccer reform should be promoted, the high point of public opinion should be seized, the story of China's soccer should be told, and the various departments should work in tandem to ensure that the task of reforming the soccer is smoothly advanced.
