's agent, Lopez, has opened negotiations for a contract extension. Morata wants a contract until 2027 and is demanding a salary of €5 million per year, as well as a one-year priority renewal clause in the contract.
Skylar revealed that Morata had previously turned down an €18 million-a-year, two-year contract offered by the Saudi club because he wanted to remain playing in Europe.
According to reports, Morata currently has a release clause in his contract at Atletico Madrid worth €13 million, and he earns €6 million a year.
Spanish striker Morata, 31, played 48 games for Atletico Madrid last season, scoring 21 goals and assisting five times. His current contract with Atletico Madrid expires in 2026. Milan are looking to strengthen their forward lineup with this contract extension and reach a long-term deal with Morata.
