Negotiations were opened and the 23-year-old is expected to join the Red Devils after the Europa League.
Zilkzer has reportedly reached a personal agreement with Manchester United, while the transfer fee is being finalized with both sides discussing specific terms. Zirkezer's contractual release fee is 40 million euros and the deal is expected to be finalized soon.
Currently playing for the Netherlands in the Europa League, Zielkeiser contributed 12 goals and 7 assists in 37 appearances for Bologna last season. His contract with Bologna expires in the summer of 2026.
