In the second half, the Warriors continued to play efficiently as they utilized consecutive fast break opportunities to extend their lead. While Knuckett's foul shots and steals stopped the bleeding for the Lakers again, Ethan Thompson's consecutive rebound foul shots helped the Warriors take a 23-point lead in the third quarter. In the final quarter, Ethan Thompson and Plowden's combined 8-0 run extended the lead to nearly 30 points, and the Warriors ultimately took firm control of the game, edging out the Lakers 92-68 to win their second straight game while sending their opponents to two consecutive defeats.
