Pedulla revealed that not long ago, Inzaghi Jr. had received a tantalizing offer from a Middle Eastern club for a salary of up to €20 million a year with additional variable bonuses. Although the name of the club has not been made public, all indications point to Riyadh Victory of Saudi Arabia. However, Inzaghi Jr. was grateful for the offer but ultimately chose to reject it.
Inzaghi Jr.'s new deal with Inter Milan will bring him an annual salary of about 6.5 million euros, a figure that is far lower than the offer from the Middle Eastern club, but it is clear that his loyalty to the Blue and Blacks and his love for Italian soccer trumps the lure of money.
