An agreement was reached and the latter will join the team as a free agent. Joca, a 28-year-old Portuguese winger, was selected for the Portuguese U23 national team as a youngster and participated in the 2016 Toulon Cup. He began his career in the youth system of Portuguese giants Braga and went on to play for a number of Portuguese clubs, including Sporting Portugal Youth, Braga B, Tondela and Lechon Isthmus, before finally helping the team win the Portuguese First Division title and promotion to the Portuguese Premier League during his time with River Avi.
In the past 2023-2024 season, Wakka appeared in 30 matches for Avi River, contributing 4 goals and 3 assists. Known for his excellent technique and long-distance shooting ability, Wakka is capable of playing on the wing and as a shadow striker.
