The team officially announced today that the team has officially signed linebacker

Kevin Porter Jr.

Finish signing. As previously reported, Porter Jr. signed a two-year base salary contract with the Clippers, with the second year being a player option.

Porter Jr. most recently made his NBA debut during the 22-23 season, when he appeared in 59 games for the Houston Rockets, averaging 34.3 minutes per game, contributing 19.2 points, 5.3 rebounds, 5.7 assists, and 1.4 steals, while shooting 44.2 percent from the field, 36.6 percent from three-point range, and 78.4 percent from the free throw line.

However, due to his involvement in a domestic violence incident, Kevin Porter Jr. was traded by the Rockets to the Oklahoma City Thunder in October last year and was cut shortly thereafter. Since then, he has opted to continue his basketball career by traveling to the Greek League.

With this signing move, the Clippers undoubtedly see Porter Jr.'s all-around ability and potential on the court. Despite his previous personal problems, the Clippers seem willing to give him a chance to prove himself again. The addition of Porter Jr. will bring more depth and versatility to the Clippers' backcourt, as well as open up a new chapter in his personal NBA renaissance.

With the contract officially signed, Porter Jr. will have the opportunity to show what he can do and contribute to the Clippers in the upcoming season.
