Leipzig have struggled on the road recently, losing four of their last five away games in all competitions. As a result, head coach Marco Rozzer and his players may be relieved to be able to play at the Red ** this weekend.

Leipzig lost again in their most recent away game in the league against Wolfsburg, their second loss to this team in a month. Wolfsburg's Jonas Wender and Rogerio each scored for the Wolves around half-time. Yusuf Polsen pulled a goal back seven minutes after the break - he was red-carded during the DFB Cup against Wolfsburg in October.

Leipzig nearly **came up short** in the Champions League, with Lois Openda scoring twice before half-time away to defending champions Manchester City. But City made a stunning comeback in the second half to secure top spot in Group G. Leipzig have already secured qualification to the knockout stages.

They must now turn their attention back to their league form, which has become much more erratic of late. Roze's side have won just three of their last seven games and are currently slipping to fifth place in the table, so the former Dortmund manager will surely want his side to beat the newly-promoted rivals in Saturday's game.

However, Heidenheim's only point on the road came against Borussia Dortmund and in their last away game they almost repeated the feat again against defending champions Bayern Munich. Frank Schmidt's side came back from two goals down to equalize against Bayern, but ultimately fell 4-2.

Their most recent game looked far less exciting as they drew 0-0 at home with VfL Bochum. Both sides struggled to create many clear cut chances and a draw was a reasonable result as each of them struggled to stay out of the relegation zone.

Indeed, Heidenheim were promoted to the Bundesliga for the first time and this season was always likely to be a tough one for them. But their 11 points from 12 games means they are three points clear of the bottom three heading into the weekend's action.
