Manchester United reopen Lindelof talks

According to the Mirror, Manchester United have reopened talks with Benfica over a move for Lindelof.

Benfica president Felipe Vieira is asking for £50million, a figure that coincides with Lindelof's liquidated damages. But United are confident of convincing the other side to lower their asking price. The Red Devils were interested in acquiring the 22-year-old center-back in January this year, but the two sides failed to reach an agreement.

Benfica are currently set to pay £3.5 million to Lindelof's old owners, Wester Ross, to remove the secondary transfer split clause from his original transfer contract. United boss Jose Mourinho is desperate to strengthen his team's back four this summer, and Lindelof is one of the targets he has his eye on. In addition, Mourinho is also interested in Burnley center-back Michael Keane.

Conte: Chelsea will decide if Hazard stays or goes

Recently there are media reports that the Real Madrid club intends to introduce Chelsea winger Hazard this summer, the Blues boss Conte said in an interview that the decision is not in his hands, but he also confirmed that Hazard in Chelsea is very happy.

Conte said: "I don't think I can decide whether a player leaves or stays, whether it's Hazard or another player. In this case, the club will make the final decision, I can say my opinion on this matter, but I repeat: the club has the right to decide. I don't know what decision the club will make, I think we have to improve the squad and strengthen it."

"You all know that in the world of soccer players have individual wishes. I think Hazard is very happy at Chelsea, he is with us and working together. I can tell you all this. As for the future, I don't have a crystal ball to predict it."

"I think Hazard is happy to stay at Chelsea and play for the team, for the club, and I think his family would love to stay in London as well. The Chelsea fans love him and I think there are a lot of positive things here to keep him and let him try to reach the top of his career at Chelsea. Don't forget that Chelsea's goal is to win every season."
