According to media outlet La Tribune de Genève, Swiss second division side Servite were on their way back from Saturday's match when their bus was attacked and the driver was slightly injured.
On the day Servite beat Wil 3-0 away and on the way back, approaching Zurich, the players got off the bus for a meal break. Just as they were getting back into the car and ready to go, a *** crowd gathered around them.
It is believed that this **person** was a fan of another Swiss team, Sion, who had just returned from Vaduz (a city in Liechtenstein). The **persons** threw beer bottles and other objects at the bus, causing the window glass next to the driver's seat to be smashed and the driver to suffer minor injuries.
"It was so scary, we were so lucky to have just boarded the bus when the attack happened. I can't imagine what would have happened if we were a minute late, if we were still outside the bus and in a head to head fight with this **maniac**. We got away with it." Servette midfielder Tibert Pont said in an interview.
Despite his injuries, the driver immediately started his car and escaped from the encirclement until he reached the next stopping point. There, the police, who had been called, had arrived.
