I, Jiang Zhipeng, am currently a player of Guangzhou R&F Football Club, and also a current player of China National Men's Football Team.
In the early hours of this morning, my ex-wife, Ms. Zhang Zhiyue, published a long post on her personal microblog, exposing the end of our marriage, which I regret very much.
Love and marriage is a private matter between two people, and it is difficult for outsiders to know what is right and wrong. There is an end to fate, there is an end to keep each other, even if we break up, I also hope that both sides can respect each other, each to leave a decent, I do not want to respond to what Ms. Zhang Zhiyue said, but its side of the argument has a biased point, not only to me and my loved ones around me, family members caused harm, but also hurt my reputation, jeopardizing my career. As a professional player, fighting on the field and serving the country is the highest honor and the biggest pursuit of my life. Therefore, I have to make the following explanations about my marriage with Ms. Zhang Zhiyue.
Due to the marriage in the family concept, life concept there are big differences, after a long time and serious thinking, as well as communication with parents and get their understanding, I think it is difficult to continue the marriage relationship with Ms. Zhang Zhiyue, so in June 2014 decided to file for divorce. And has been in September, December 2016 through two final hearings, to end the marriage relationship by legal proceedings, the two do not have children, property division is clear, there is no objection.

With regard to the multiple accusations made against me in Ms. Zhang Zhiyue's article, I would like to make the following solemn statement:
First, the end of my marriage with Ms. Zhang Zhiyue was not due to a third party; it was a problem between the two of us;
Secondly, with regard to the income and property, including real estate, of Ms. Zhang Zhiyue and me during the marriage, the court has conducted a thorough investigation and made a division in accordance with the law;
Thirdly, I would also like to say a few words of thanks to Ms ZHANG Zhiyue for the many years of companionship, and I hope that the two of them will bid farewell to each other and live in peace.
Finally, I would like to say sorry to the fans who are concerned about this matter. Due to the problems in my personal life, it has brought bad influence to the national team, distracting my teammates and worrying the leaders, I feel very guilty in my heart. I hope that in the coming days, I can do my best in the game to serve the team and the country.
