Munich star Thomas Muller has announced via social media that he is ending his 14-year-long career with the national team. The 34-year-old attacking midfielder has left a brilliant mark on the international scene, making 131 appearances for the national team, scoring 45 goals and contributing 41 assists. Since making his debut in 2010, Muller has played in eight major tournaments, including four World Cups and four Euros, where he helped Germany win the 2014 World Cup and was awarded the Golden Boot. At the recent Euro 2024, despite only making two appearances, Müller showed how important he is to the team. Despite the end of his national team career, Muller will continue to honor his contract with Bayern Munich.
